Tomac Triathlete Jim Thjis takes 2nd place at off-road duathlon
Jim Thijs (Tomac Bikes/Notubes) from Belgium finished 2ndat the first national off-road duathlon. “After the first run I didn’t feel strong and lost 20seconds on the leaders. I could close the gap easily on my Tomac hardtail. We started the final run with just 3 leaders. Like in the first run I was missing the leg speed and couldn’t follow the pace from Moris.”
Thijs finished ahead of Labie who took the 3th podium spot. It’s the best season opener ever for Jim Thijs, whose goal is to be at his best in October at the Xterra World Championships in Maui.
